Creating An Email Account
Before proceeding, you’ll be required to setup an e-mail address within cPanel before setting it up in Microsoft Outlook 2013 (Mac). View the guide here: Guide: Creating an email account
If your email address already exists within cPanel, please proceed with following the instructions below.
In this knowledgebase article we will assist you with adding and configuring a new email account in your Outlook 2013 for Mac, we assume that you have already created your email account within your cPanel account.
Click Mail on the menu bar.
Click on Tools then on Accounts.
Click on Other Email.
You need to fill in all your information as follows: Email: The email account you wish to connect to. Password: Email account password. Username: The email address of the account you wish to connect to. Type: Select POP or IMAP (for the purpose of this tutorial, we are using IMAP). Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your domain name. You may alternatively also use the server hostname. Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your domain name. You may alternatively also use the server hostname.
Click on More Options.
Click on the Authentication dropdown and select Use Incoming Server Info.
You have now completed setting up your email account on your Outlook 2013 for Mac.
